At the beginning of the year, Alcatel presented the four smartphone models that will be integrated into its catalog during 2020, focusing on the entry and mid-range ranges.
Among those specimens, we highlight the Alcatel 3L 2020, of less than 150 euros, as the most powerful phone among its generation peers. We have in our hands a team of this model, which we review below.
Alcatel 3L 2020 main features
It is a reissue of the model launched a year earlier under the same name, with features that include a 6.22-inch screen, with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. It has 4GB of RAM and an 8-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor and 2Ghz of power.
This example comes preloaded with Android 10 as the operating system and comes in two color variants: black and gradient blue, for those who prefer to opt for something sober or colorful, respectively.
Its internal storage unit has a capacity of 64GB, expandable through a microSD slot with support for cards up to 32GB.
Its lithium battery is 4000mAh, it has Bluetooth 5.0 and its WiFi receiver supports only the 2.4Ghz band.
Its characteristics also include, on the one hand, the presence of elements that are less and less present in the new equipment that appears on the market: a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an FM tuner.
On the other hand, despite being classified as a mid-range phone, we can find in it some qualities that are more typical of the latest times, such as a button dedicated to the Google Assistant, a noise cancellation system in its microphones and a touch sensor. fingerprints on the back, which is complemented by the face unlock tool provided by the system.

This terminal has three rear cameras and one front. In the rear area, the main lens is 48 megapixels, the telephoto lens is 5 megapixels and a third lens, with a greater depth of field, is 2 megapixels. On the other hand, the front lens is 8 megapixels.
The rear cameras can record videos at 1080p resolution and the front at 720p, both with the maximum capacity to record up to 30 frames per second. Additional features in this section include automatic focus, artificial intelligence scene detection, a panoramic photo capture mode, the application of real-time photo filters, HDR, electronic video stabilization, and a night mode.
