Amazon updates the Alexa app with new design and personalized suggestions

The Alexa application is about to release a new design that better organizes its functions taking into account the needs of the user.

This will allow the user easy access to the functions they need to organize their day or maintain their routines.

The main screen will transform to show the user everything they need based on their routines and the options they use most frequently. So the experience provided by the main screen will be different for each user. For example, if you are a new user, you will find some basics that will help you use the application, as well as suggestions on other Amazon products or services.

And as for intensive users, show those commands and functions that will be useful to them taking into account their habits when using Alexa. All this from the main screen, so you will not have to complicate with other sections of the application.

There were also changes in the distribution of the options that we already know. For example, options like Reminder, Routines, Devices, etc, are now in a dedicated section of the app, leaving the previous menu behind.

And an interesting change that you will notice when opening the application is that the Alexa button is displayed at the top. It seems like a small change, but it gives you more visibility. And everything related to third-party functions loses space on the main screen, since it only focuses on the relevant functions.

All of these design changes will be available in the Alexa app for iOS, Android, and Fire OS devices in late August.
