Along with today's update for GarageBand for iOS, Apple has just announced the launch of a new mobile app focused on music creators and composers: Music Memos. Available today for free for iPhone and iPad from the Apple Store, Music Memos is based on the Voice Memos application, also used by these professionals, also incorporating some specific extra features for them.
Music creators and composers will find a simple interface where they will have a predominant button that will allow them to start recording any musical instrument through the microphone of their own iOS devices, obtaining a high-quality recording without understanding. From here on, they will be able to manage said recording by establishing their name, label and rating, which will allow them easy access on subsequent occasions, becoming part of their music libraries. You can also add other musical accompaniment elements through recordings available in the ideas section that gives you a feeling of musical composition.
The application also has other features, such as instrument tuning and the ability to start recordings automatically without pressing the button, just by starting to play the instruments themselves.
These professionals can also bring their music libraries to the cloud through iCloud to make them available on all their devices and can open each recording through GarageBand or Logic Pro X to transfer their ideas to musical compositions.
Music Memos sits in the middle of Voice Memos and GarageBand and is the equivalent of voice idea annotation to serve as inspiration when making music creations.
