We have already tried many smart assistants, from the official ones from Amazon and Google to those developed by third-party manufacturers that integrate their technology, but until now we have not found any with the audio quality of the one that Belkin has just launched.
It is the Soundform Elite, available at belkin.com and expected to arrive in Spain in the middle of this month of August for a price of 299 euros.
Belkin is specialized in wireless charging accessories, and now enters the world of audio with its SOUNDFORM ELITE HI-FI with wireless charging, but to verify its audio quality, nothing better than to compare it with the official Google Home assistant (although at recording from the mobile is not so noticeable that live, everything is said in passing):
Among the features it offers we have:
– Devialet Acoustics: Patented technologies from the pioneers of Devialet audio provide incredible sound quality from a compact device. You can notice it when you put it in the room and see how the audio seems to come from several angles at the same time. – It features Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology, invented for absolute fidelity. – It has dual Push-Push woofer configuration that cancels vibrations while providing a deep and powerful sound experience.– Use the Google Assistant.– It has Fast Wireless Charging optimized for iPhone, Samsung and Google (although we can charge a Huawei without problems) .– It can be paired with other smart speakers Google Assistant-enabled for multi-room functionality.
Until now they have been the official characteristics, but we go with the personal opinion:
Of all the speakers I have at home, this is the one with the best audio quality without a doubt. It is really impressive, and it perfectly replaces any other Google assistant you have at home, including the Amazon assistants that are also available in the newsroom. Having a wireless charger is an important plus, since it is possible to transmit music from your mobile without Let’s worry about the battery. The design is perfect, elegant and professional.
It does not have an external connector, so we cannot use it as a speaker for our TV, for example, unless said TV is compatible with Google Home. We could put a Chromecast on the TV and that way get the connection, but it is less intuitive.
Its price is somewhat high. 299 euros is a great investment, although if we add assistant, charger and hi-fi speaker it is possible that the numbers do add up.
