Technology has become an integral part of our lives, but only a small number of people on the planet actually have the tools, access, or knowledge to create new technology. That is why projects such as those offered by CircuitMess are necessary, a company that today presents the STEM Box.
CircuitMess STEM Box is an electronics kit for children and adults to learn about autonomous driving, sound synthesis, voice recognition, wireless communication, games and machine learning, among other skills.
The goal is to deliver, every three months, a product based on a different theme. They have already released six of them:
- Spencer – a codable voice assistant similar to Amazon Alexa that shows us the technology behind voice recognition and AI
- Jay-d – a DJ mixer that will teach us how sound synthesis works
- Wheelson – a DIY robot car that will show us how autonomous vehicles work
- ByteBoi – a self-built game console to explain what video game engineering is and how microcomputers work
- Chatter – CircuitMess communication devices that will teach about wireless communication
- Clockstar – a smart watch powered by the learning machine
The Kickstarter campaign (click here) is now launching with the goal of raising $ 15,000, and they plan to deliver the first kit in November 2020.
This is CircuitMess’ third campaign, after two very successful ones.
CircuitMess started its first Kickstarter campaign in 2017 for MAKERbuino – a DIY game console. The first campaign raised over $ 100,000, followed by a Kickstarter campaign for MAKERphone – a DIY mobile phone that raised over $ 300,000 in 2018.
Since then, CircuitMess has delivered more than 15,000 devices to customers around the world.
CircuitMess is a technology company that was founded in Karlovac, Croatia, in 2017 by Albert Gajak and Tomislav Car after the success of MAKERbuino.
