We have closely followed the activity of Codecademy, the platform that offers basic and not-so-basic courses for self-taught programmers and that offers us a couple of months ago new free HTML and CSS courses.
For programmers who are thinking of starting a project applied to certain services, Codecademy now offers courses to use different APIs aimed at developing applications easily and quickly. To do this, it has started a collaboration with different companies with the aim of creating new lessons for programmers to learn the basic lessons to work with the APIs of Twitter, Evernote, Box and Gilt. For example, the Twitter API lesson will allow you to read Twitter from the code editor itself and add tweets from there, among other things.
A new step in Codecademy to become one of the most complete educational platforms when it comes to programming. All courses in Codecademy are free – and of course these new API courses are also free. We can consult the list of courses to learn how to program with them by clicking here and get more information on the Codecademy blog.
