Dropbox will officially launch its password manager, among other news

In these last months we have been able to know some of the developments that Dropbox has been working on, and that from now on and over the next few months will materialize in the form of new applications and mobile functions.

For starters, Dropbox just launched a standalone document scanning application. With Dropbox Scan tries to make its scanning technology available to the general public, and is now available to iOS users in English-speaking markets. If it is also integrated with the Dropbox account that is available, including the free one, users can synchronize the scans made to have them available from any device.

As we already advanced at the beginning of last June, Dropbox is working on its new password manager. Well then, Dropbox Passwords will become a reality from next August for Android and iOS users who have a Plus or Professional subscription, where in addition to having a safe place to store passwords, you can also automatically complete the form fields to log in in applications and websites.

For its part, Dropbox Vault It’s an added layer of security for the protection of your most important documents, and it will arrive in the main Dropbox application for Plus subscription users also next August. Users can protect their most important documents by using a PIN, and can also give access to trusted friends and family at any given time.

In addition, Dropbox Transfer, for large file transfers, go from being only for iOS users with Professional subscriptions, to being available in the Dropbox mobile app for all users later this year.

Remember that, as we indicated at the end of last year, this function will allow you to send files of up to 100 MB in free accounts, and up to 100 GB in paid accounts.

Finally, comes the function of image searches to Dropbox on Android and iOS for Professional and Business users, and the dark mode to the application, starting with iOS and coming to Android in the next few months.
