After the launch of the Camera Effects Platform (CEP) in closed beta earlier this year and later AR Studio in the same situation through the F8 conference, Facebook notes that it has seen a strong response from the more than 2,000 creators who have used AR Studio, generating various Augmented Reality experiences for its camera function, with which users have been able to have fun through masks, frames, animated elements, among other elements that they have been able to incorporate into their images.
Now Facebook is placing AR Studio in the public beta phase, giving input to any creator who wants to bring new Augmented Reality experiences to the camera role. For this, this platform has been incorporating new tools throughout these months so that creators can generate new Augmented Reality experiences.
In this regard, it has also announced that in the coming days they will enable world-effect technology with which creators can create 3D objects to place them in the real world and interact with them.
Basically, it is a copy of the World Lenses of Snapchat, and it is sought that with the help of a universe of third-party creators, they can take more experiences both on Facebook and in other company applications compared to that offered from Snapchat, in which has only had the collaboration of very specific creators.
This opening could even lead to interested brands being able to bring recreations of their 3D products to the area of Facebook's Augmented Reality, reaching an audience. Possibly, some toy brand does not miss the opportunity to create 3D objects from their toys to introduce them to the field of Augmented Reality.
It will be a matter of time to see the emergence of these new experiences in your camera role.
