The new pre-release version of Office 2016 for Mac is out now, the first for Mac makers in a long time.
As expected Office 2016 includes the most famous office programs on the face of the Earth, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and the Outlook mail application. We can install this previous version without uninstalling Office 2011, and they can coexist perfectly.
And it is that as its name indicates this previous version serves to take a look at the innovations implemented during these years of drought. For example, there is the integration with the cloud with OneDrive, the Microsoft service, or the compatibility with Retina displays, which greatly improve the experience for Mac and Macbook owners who until now had to leave their sight.

To use this previous version, you do not need an Office 365 subscription, so we are not obliged to use it if we do not want to. However, when Office 2016 for Mac is officially released it will become part of the Office 365 subscription.
