From Samsung they warn “beware, the confidential information you speak in front of the TV may be recorded and sent to third parties”

The big problem with smart TVs is precisely that, that they are too smart. Many of them already include a voice recognition system to obtain orders related to the operation of the device, and on the Samsung website they comment on a detail that is generating much controversy on reddit:

Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition.

Translating:

Please note that if your words include confidential personal or other information, that information will be one of the data captured and transmitted to third parties through the use of voice recognition.

Of course, initially we can assume that this shipment is made so that from Samsung they know the most frequent orders and, in this way, improve the system in future models. If millions of people send an order that TV does not understand, sending the message to third parties, it will be possible that it will be understood in the future, so there must be such a transfer of information. The problem is that the notice from the Samsung website is scary, a lot.

Apparently what is recorded on TVs, and the conversion to text is performed, it is not only what is understood, it is EVERYTHING, so you already know, if your television is smart enough, do not tell your life.
