A new update of Google Maps for iOS adds some interesting features for intensive users.
For example, we will meet Travel times today, which will allow us to check the traffic from the current location to our home or work. And that way, we can see the estimated travel time from the notification center.
So it will not be necessary to open the app every time we want to estimate the travel time to our home or work, according to the current traffic. We only have to enable Travel Times Today and we will always have it available in the notification center.
For this dynamic to work, it is necessary to have previously configured the addresses of our home / work.
Other news that we will find is that it will be easier to share addresses with our contacts, following the same dynamics as the Android app. We will find this option in the drop-down menu that we will see by selecting the three points together with the addresses.
And finally we find settings to customize the night mode, following the criteria we want. As well as, the options have been taken into account to configure the distance options while browsing the app.
To have all these new features it is only necessary to have the app updated or download it from the App Store.
