Google updates Chrome for iOS

Google has just released a new version of its Chrome mobile web browser for iOS devices, reaching version 40 with a series of novelties, highlighting among them the change of visual style by adopting the Material Design style, which was already Present in the version of Chrome for Android, thus offering uniformity on mobile platforms, bringing the same experience to users of iOS devices. Google points out that the new visual style will bring bold graphics, smooth movement, and touch surfaces.

Another novelty incorporated in this version is the optimization for iOS 8 as well as its compatibility with larger phones, in clear reference to Iphone 6 and iPhone 6+, and the inclusion of support for the transfer from Chrome to the default browser in OS X. Likewise, this version also includes stability improvements and bug fixes, as is very common in every new version of mobile applications.

The deployment of the new version is now available to users of iOS devices from version 7.0 onwards through the App Store.
