Google works on Bulletin, an app for anyone to highlight local news

In the last few hours an interesting news related to Google has just been produced. As echoed from 9to5 Google, the technology giant is working on an application with which anyone can highlight local news by publishing it directly from their smartphone. We are talking about Bulletin, a free application that is currently being tested in a pilot program.

Without a doubt, one of the main peculiarities for which the application stands out is that it allows anyone to have the ability to echo no need to create a personal blog or website. The goal of Google is to help highlight local stories and news that might not otherwise be told.

Taking into account the above, one of its main strengths is its simple operation. In fact, no configuration is required to publish our first story, but we only have to download the app and start writing in the same way that we do on a social network. Of course, the application allow us to include text, images and videos to illustrate the news. In addition, the creators of the news will have access to a section of reading statistics.

As we anticipate, Bulletin is in private beta phase and will be operating within a pilot program limited to the Nashville and Oakland regions, in Tennessee and California, respectively. Even so, all those residing in these places may request access to the pilot program through this form. As always, we will remain attentive to the evolution of the project.
