LinkedIn launches new job search options

LinkedIn announced a series of news for those seeking work on the platform.

These new options are designed to leverage the LinkedIn community to search for job opportunities.

For example, one of them allows you to give more visibility to your search by adding a badge to your profile photo, as you can see in the image.

To activate this option you have to go to Profile and select the option Show recruitment technicians that you are looking for a job. In addition to the different fields to complete according to your type of search, you will see Choose who can see that you are interested >> Share with all LinkedIn members, which adds the OpenToWork framework to your photo.

In this way, when someone sees your profile or finds you in LinkedIn searches or suggestions, they will see that you are in active search. And if you interact on LinkedIn in the publications of other users, you will add more possibilities, since your image in the comments reflects that you are open to new job opportunities.

On the other hand, LinkedIn also added a new feature for those users who want to support and help their contacts who are looking for work. We have already seen different user initiatives on LinkedIn who offer their knowledge to advise them, for example, the development or evaluation of CVs.

To make it easier for these initiatives to reach more users, LinkedIn has added Offer Help among the publishing options for users to offer resume evaluations, career advice, among other possibilities.

These publications will carry the hashtag #OfrezcoAyuda so that those who seek this type of help can easily find it on the platform.
