Live Cases, new Google tool to create custom cases for Nexus

Google has released a new tool to create custom cases for the Nexus 5X, 6 and 6P. The idea is to have a complete online editor in which it will be possible to modify a photo or the map of a location of interest to turn them into a cover for the mobile phone that will then be purchased.

There are default layouts, but you can upload photos and choose personal locations. In any case, you will always have a set of colors, shapes, effects, textures, patterns and other visual elements to come up with your own unique design – for example, you can apply color themes to maps.

As if that were not enough, the creation of a live wallpaper to match the case:

Photos Live Case and Places Live Case These are the two available case references: The first is designed for personal photos (friends, family, animals, objects, etc.) and the second is to highlight preferred locations. Both come with a button on the back, fully programmable, to activate special functions including launching the camera to add more photos to the wallpaper, display place labels with the help of Google Maps or run a preferred application.

In short, an arsenal of customization for Nexus phones. Of course, there is already a promotional video pointing out how it is easy to design a case and buy it, that is, the bad news is that it only works for purchases in the United States.
