In this sense, as we already know, parents will be able to control the time their children spend in front of the screen on different devices, broken down at the application level, and even establish time limits for use with the possibility of extensions depending on the requests they make. can be received, and can also block the use of specific applications on devices under Windows, Xbox and Android.
Also thinking of minors, this application has search filters and web browsing, which are present through the Edge browser, in Windows 10 and on Xbox One devices, with the idea that minors can only access content that can be accessed. suitable for them, although the company also plans to extend its filters to the iOS ecosystem in the future with regard to mobile devices, since for now these filters are present in Android.
The application also has a feature that allows different members to share their physical locations, and for those who are Microsoft 365 subscribers, they will soon be able to receive notifications when a member arrives or leaves a certain location,
And also, in the future, Microsoft 365 subscribers will also have the new safe driving feature, which will introduce them to and help them improve their driving habits when they get behind the wheel of their cars, with the idea initially arriving in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
Microsoft Family Safety is beginning to be available to all users after months in which it has been available only to a limited group of them, and can be downloaded now on Android, and later this week also on iOS (iPhone).
