The popular Microsoft email application, Outlook, which also has a wide range of features for the productive simultaneous management of messages, calendar events and files – especially office automation – on mobile phones, has updated its Android app bringing with it support for watches with Android Wear.
The idea is to be able to have the content of the accounts connected to Outlook and manage the contents of your inboxes without even taking your phone out of your pocket. To do this, smartwatches will be able to review notifications, quickly read new emails and also respond instantly with messages from templates or by voice dictation.
The hard work would still be on the mobile phone where the Outlook app manages to highlight the most important messages to put them at the top of the tray, switch between calendar and email content, and manage to view Office documents. Of course, in Android Wear the plan is to include as many of these features as possible based on interesting options such as intuitive gestures.
Anyway, the novelty is in the latest version of the application which is already available in the Play Store.
