Thinking about this, the Spanish firm Mondraker has taken the initiative to offer the child public Grommy, the new electric balance bicycle without pedals with which children will be able to have the opportunity to acquire the basic notions required for the handling and mastery of this medium. transport, while adapting to new trends.
Added to this, Mondraker decided to up the ante by installing a 250 W electric motor on this model of balance electric bike for children in order to further facilitate the learning process.
In this sense, the Grommy has 3 driving modes:
- Balance: The child can move at a maximum speed of 8.1 km / h.
- Fun: The child can move at a maximum speed of 12.1 km / h.
- Advanced: The child will be able to move at a speed of 17.7 km / h.
With regard to the battery of the Grommy, this allows an autonomy of up to 60 minutes, time that can be extended with the acquisition of an additional battery, so that it can be exchanged when the other battery is exhausted, which will take a while. 60 minutes to be recharged.

In relation to the origin of the name by which this electric balance bike was designated, Miguel explained that it came from the term Groms, used to refer to young bikers.
Grommy will be put up for sale on the market for a value of 700 euros, being available in two models: a 12-inch one aimed at children from 3 to 5 years old and another 16-inch, aimed at children from 5 to 8 years old. .
