If you do not have plans for this weekend, do not worry, you will not have time to try the hundreds of video games in demo version that you will find in the Steam Game Festival.
This festival has been going on for a few weeks now, but a few days ago the possibility of testing more than 900 games presented by developers from 65 countries was opened.
You will have many categories to choose from, among them, action, sports, horror, simulation games, strategies, among others. Each demo has its file within the festival with the description of the video game, videos and screenshots so that you understand its dynamics.
And of course, the system requirements (processor, memory, storage) that the video game needs to run smoothly on the computer are also specified. To install the game it will be necessary to have previously installed the Steam desktop application.
If it is not available on your computer, do not worry, from the same game download option it will give you the link to start this process. And as a bonus, you can also see the same developers live in one session playing their own creations.
And if you’re interested in how the idea for a particular game came about, the creative process, or the story behind each developer, take a look at some of the interviews conducted. You can see the full festival calendar at this link.
The bad news is that you only have until Sunday to try all the games that interest you, so you will have to postpone your Netflix marathon so as not to miss the demos of the most anticipated video games.
