In the framework of the specialized YouTube configurations for Google Apps announced in November of last year, which came as a compendium of extra customization options so that schools and other organizations could better manage the experience of their users when accessing the video portal , notice is given to enable new features to continue with this approach.
For example, a new whitelisting function is mentioned in the respective official publication, which now not only enables access to private videos but also to entire channels, an option available to differentresponsible for video approvalchosen by the organization. The latter will have unlimited access to YouTube and will be able to control the content that can be accessed by users tagged under the same domain.
For its part, new restriction modes are made available for logged-in users (Strict and Moderate) even allowing network administrators to use more advanced restrictions (even under WiFi networks and DNS settings) and even, soon, to limit mobile access also to users who are logged in under the organization's domain.
