OnePlus confirms new features of the new OnePlus Nord days after its presentation

After the three rounds of reservations, the specifications of the new OnePlus Nord, the most affordable phone from OnePlus, are still not known in detail, which will give much to talk about. To date, we know that this mysterious model will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, with integrated 5G connectivity. We have also known that it will come with a 90Hz FullHD + screen, but until today we have no more information about it.

In this sense, OnePlus has offered some more details about the screen, and has added information about the configuration of cameras to integrate. To know all the specifications, we will have to wait until next July 21, which is when its presentation event will be held through augmented reality.

Regarding the display, in addition to the 90Hz refresh rate, the company has noted that they have optimized their technology to go from maximum touch sampling rate 135Hz of the OnePlus 7T to frequency of the 180Hz that will come on the screen of the OnePlus Nord, an improvement that will be noticeable in areas such as games.

Even so, it is still somewhat far from the maximum 240Hz touch sample rate of the ASUS ROG Phone II screen, which will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

It is likely that in a short space of time, in addition to the screen refresh rate, more importance will also be given to the touch sampling frequency, especially in mobile phone models focused on games, and that it will gradually reach mid-range models, as other technologies have been arriving, and therefore, will become available to more users.

OnePlus promises that in simple terms, once you test the Nord’s 90Hz display, there is no going back. And with regard to the configuration of cameras to incorporate, and as a preview to point out that it is the most normal that one can find today.

In this sense, the rear camera configuration will be made up of a 48MP main camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a macro camera whose resolution is unknown. On the front, take a 32MP wide-angle main camera alongside an 8MP secondary camera.

Let’s not forget that the device will have a confirmed price for Europe of 500 euros, which makes it striking considering its characteristics, at least those known so far. Therefore, we will have to wait for the presentation event to know the rest of the details.
