Periscope adds support for 360 ° live streams

As announced by the Twitter team, streaming on Periscope may be a little more interesting as it adds support for 360 live video.

Any user can join these special streams, but even a small group of partners can create it.

The idea is to offer users a more intense way to enjoy broadcasts, giving them the possibility to focus on those details that most capture their attention.

This type of videos will have a special badge, like the one we see in the image:

So when we see this brand, either on Twitter or Periscope, we can change the point of view and take advantage of the potential of 360 videos. We can see an example in this link, in one of Alex Pettitt's broadcasts.

As mentioned in their post, they plan to extend this feature in the coming weeks, so those who want to try this new feature can complete this form and be on the waiting list.

For now, it remains to be seen what celebrities and partners invited to try out this functionality have prepared, as well as a look at upcoming popular events that will use 360 videos to captivate our eyes.
