We have already spoken to you on previous occasions about Periscope, the Twitter application to transmit live video from our smartphone through the Internet. In the last few hours, the Periscope team has released an update for iOS that contains a most useful feature.
As we have been able to verify, the characteristic of which we speak allows us make quick sketches on the screen while streaming live video, a function that can be useful in highlighting something of what we are seeing so that it does not go unnoticed by our viewers. In addition, we can use any of the three primary colors or use the eyedropper to select any color of the live video.
It is important to note that the drawings we make on the screen will disappear in a matter of a few seconds, although any viewer will be able to take a screenshot that will also show our sketches. On the other hand, we take the opportunity to highlight that the update we are talking about also includes a complete panel of statistics that among other things shows us how many live visits and the number of repetitions we have had on a given broadcast.
If you are Periscope users, you can download and install the update that we are talking about completely free of charge through the following link to the App Store.
