ProtonMail adds support for Chinese language

ProtonMail, the well-known secure email service and alternative to popular email services, is now targeting the Chinese market by launching support for their language, Available in Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese variants.

To reach this milestone, have had the collaboration of volunteer translators, who since the past year have been working to translate both the web version and the mobile applications, to now reach users of their service in China under their Primary mission of bringing privacy and security on the Internet to all users globally.

The service indicates that the chinese language is the most spoken language in the world, China being the country with the most Internet users in the world, with some 700 million users, from a population of about 1.4 billion inhabitants. Behind the Chinese language is Spanish and English.

In this way, The Chinese language in its two variants is added to the 14 languages ​​that this service has supported so far.: Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

But from ProtonMail we will continue working to reach more users. In this regard, they encourage all those whose native languages ​​are not yet supported in the service to join the translation project so that ProtonMail can expand to more different languages.
