The latest update of Skype for Android brings an interesting novelty to facilitate dynamics for those who use the mobile for driving mode in the car.
As announced by the Microsoft team, the latest version of the Skype app adds support for Android Auto, providing more options for those using the Google app.
At the moment, the support includes only text messages. So you can select to have the text messages sent by your contacts via Skype be read from the Android Auto interface, as well as the option to reply to them using voice commands.
Of course, this new option can be customized from the app settings. Perhaps in the future, Microsoft will add more features to its integration with Android Auto. This is not the only update that Microsoft has released for Skype, it has also updated the version for iOS, with the ability to change the camera background on some iPhone and iPad models, as well as bug fixes.
These new features announced for the recent versions of Skype for iOS and Android will be implemented over the next few days. And those who use Skype from Windows have not been without news either. They had already announced that starting this month, the Skype application for Windows 10 and the desktop client will offer a consistent experience with the rest of the platforms, such as an updated and improved Skype.
So no matter how the user downloads Skype for Windows, have the same features and news. Of course, these updates will be limited by the experience that Windows offers, so there will be features that are not available.
