As planned, today the new OnePlus Nord was officially presented, a presentation that has been carried through Augmented Reality, and that inaugurates the company’s new family of more affordable phones.
As we have been telling for a few weeks, this model has been able to be reserved over three specific days during this month of July, without knowing its specific characteristics, although users have been able to be guided by rumors and leaks that have been taking place, as always happens before the launch of any phone called to be a super-sales.
Although today all the specifications have been detailed, the ones that are most interesting were already known to us days ago. In this sense, this is a phone model that brings the advanced photography capabilities of its current flagship, the OnePlus 8, to the mid-range. In this regard, the OnePlus Nord features the same 48 MP main sensor found in the OnePlus 8, Sony’s 48 MP IMX586 sensor, with optical image stabilization and f / 1.75 aperture.
You will be accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera with a 119 angle of view, a 5MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, as we mentioned days ago, it has two perforated cameras on the screen, with a 32 MP Sony IMX616 main sensor, which can even record 4K videos up to 60 fps, and a secondary 8MP wide-angle sensor, to allow people to enter the frame without being squeezed into the same spot thanks to the 105 angle of view.
In addition to the built-in cameras, the company takes its chest out of its night mode, which can be used with both the main camera and the wide-angle camera of its rear camera setup, being able to capture detailed night images thanks to the capture of up to nine shots that then they are fused to offer greater brightness and sharpness in the images. In addition, intelligent functions also reduce unwanted noise, improving the sharpness of images.
And since the best photographs should be seen on the best screens, this model has a 6.44 Fluid AMOLED FullHD + screen, with a 90Hz refresh rate, an improved touch sampling rate, and a 20: 9 aspect ratio, with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
For the rest, it is a mobile phone prepared for 5G connectivity thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and it will come in two variants of ddr4x RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage: 8GB / 128GB and 12GB / 256GB, which will come at a price of 399 euros and 499 euros respectively. It also has a 4,115 mAh battery with 30 W Warp Charge 30T fast charging support.
NFC chip integration, support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and for WiFi ac and earlier networks, with dual SIM tray, in addition to dual band GPS positioning, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, A-GPS, and NavIC, make up the rest. of the hardware specifications (all the details are on this page), to which it is added that it will come with Android 10 with the OxygenOS 10.5 customization layer, which has among its functions the dark mode, zen mode, among others.
From today it can be booked on Amazon.com, where users can count on a 0% financing plan. It can officially be purchased from next August 4 through the company’s online store, being able to choose between the Blue Marble and Gray Onix color options.
