This is Cat S62 Pro, the new Cat phone with integrated thermal vision system

The Cat family of phones will welcome Cat S62 Pro, the third generation of the Cat 60 phone series, offering a high level of waterproofing and resistance to shocks and falls, making him an ideal candidate to work with even under the most extreme conditions.

It is a mobile phone model aimed at both consumers and professionals, and it will be released next September at a recommended price of 649 euros. In addition, it has a 5.7 ″ FullHD + screen, with an 18: 9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 6 protection; Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM expandable by microSD, SONY 12 MP rear camera and 8MP front camera, in addition to a 4,000mAh battery, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 10 as the operating system, expandable to Android 11 when the time comes.

In regards to its waterproofing and resistance, the Cat telephone licensee, Bullitt Group, notes that this model has IP68 certification and the American military standard Mil Spec 810H, It has been subjected to very harsh tests, both for drops and for waterproofing and extreme temperatures, among others, also allowing it to be cleaned by submerging with soaps and disinfectants or with alcohol wipes.

In this sense, it is resistant to dust and water, being able to be submersible in water up to 1.5 meters in 35 minutes maximum, and it is even capable of withstand falls on steel from 1.8 meters high on steel.

And when it comes to its integrated thermal vision system, it points out that the FLIR thermal camera with Lepton 3.5 sensor along with the MyFLIR Pro application, which offers a set of advanced thermography options on a smartphone.

Integration of the MyFLIR Pro application also provides users with advanced thermography features for the first time on a smartphone, maximizing the utility of viewing and detecting thermal energy invisible to the naked eye.

Together, users will be able to capture 1440 x 1080p thermal images, display a temperature range from -20C to 400C, change the intensity of the MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging), combine the image of the SONY camera with the thermal details, among other possibilities.
