The new beast of ASUS mobile games arrives with the new ASUS ROG Phone 3, which the company has just presented at a virtual event, becoming a more than worthy successor to the ASUS ROG Phone 2, launched last year, due to its interesting features.
And we are talking about a powerful mobile phone that carries the latest from Qualcomm’s mobile platform, the Snapdragon 865+ processor, aimed especially at high-end gaming mobile phones, and that, obviously, also has 5G SA / NSA connectivity.
Its screen also has a lot to say, or rather, a lot to show, since it is a 6.59 ″ AMOLED screen that has a very interesting 144 Hz / 1ms refresh rate that, according to the company, provides a Delta-E color accuracy of less than one to ensure vivid and accurate images, and industry-leading 25 millisecond touch latency enables near-instantaneous touch response.
In addition, it is a 10-bit screen compatible with HDR10 + high dynamic range content, which also has the Low Blue Light and Flicker Reduced certifications from TV Rheinland with which it is able to guarantee a more comfortable viewing experience.
So that users can enjoy hours of gaming sessions at maximum performance, the new ASUS ROG Phone 3 features cooling technology based on an improved 3D GameCool 3 steam chamber, allowing the device to work at suitable temperatures for hours.
For the rest, we are facing a beast of a device that will come in different configurations of RAM (LPDDR5) and internal storage (UFS 3.1) that reaches up to 16GB and 512 GB respectively. Regarding the photographic aspect, this beast of the games has a configuration of rear cameras composed of the main camera with a 64 MP SONY IMX686 sensor, followed by a 13MP wide angle and a 5MP macro camera. On the front it has a 24 MP camera.
On the back there will also be its iconic luminous logo with AURA RGB technology.
In addition, it has a generous 6000 mAh battery compatible with a 30W fast charging system, in which, as in previous models, it has its charging connector on the side of the device. It also has an NFC chip, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wifi 6 connectivity, and the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen itself.
With the announcement of the new ASUS ROG Phone 3, a host of accessories and peripherals have also arrived to deliver a complete experience, including the new ROG Falchion wireless gaming keyboard, ROG Cetra RGB gaming headsets, and ROG Strix XG16 portable gaming monitor. .
Regarding prices, the 12GB / 512GB configuration will arrive for 999 euros, while the 16GB / 512GB configuration will arrive for 1,099 euros. Additionally, a version with somewhat lower hardware capabilities (processor, ram and storage) will arrive, the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, which will cost about 799 euros.
