Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat, has just introduced the new version of its sunglasses with a built-in camera, Spectacles 3, and which in this version amounts to having two HD cameras, one on each side of the frame, to obtain the depth and dimension of the environment in the same way that it is obtained through the eyes.
With this information, users will be able to apply different Augmented Reality effects to their photos and videos, ranging from adding magic effects to adding virtual characters to the screenshots themselves, called Snaps.
Said captures or Snaps will be synchronized wirelessly with the complementary application installed in the smart mobile devices, from where users will be able to apply the Augmented Reality effects, between 3D filters and 3D glasses, in very few steps.
From the complementary application there will also be a 3D viewer to recall the moments captured through the glasses or relive those moments from the perspective of other users.
The Spectacles 3 are glasses that have a frame made of strong and light steel, providing resistance along with comfort and elegance, which will also integrate two circular-type lenses.
These glasses can be charged anywhere thanks to their leather case, capable of holding up to a maximum of four charges. Neither the glasses nor the case have protection against water, that is, they are not submersible.
Regarding their arrival on the market, they will be available from this next autumn in two different colors, in black (charcoal) and beige (mineral), for a price of about 370 euros, a slightly higher price than previous models, being able to Book now through its electronic commerce platform.
