Twitter will broadcast the route of the Olympic torch via Periscope

The Olympics are approaching @ Rio2016, and while Brazil tries to overcome its political crisis (it may be that the president is expelled before the event even begins), she continues to fight against the Zika mosquito, runs to finish the works, keeps criminals at bay. Striking and still thinking of some way to clean the water where the competitions will be held, on Twitter they announce the transmission of the torch route.

In addition to showing the step by step in the @OlympicFlame account, they have created a channel in Periscope that will allow you to see live videos with the entire route, from Greece to Brazil, as well as content on Vine ideal to share it on social networks.

In the account it is already possible to see photos, vines, periscopes … information of all kinds that will be published to see how different athletes and volunteers carry the torch through Greece, arrive in Switzerland and end up in Brazil, where they will still have a good journey pending.

A great bet by Twitter, which for the first time could show its full potential in an Olympics, since four years ago it did not have, far from it, the resources it has today, mainly in what refers to video transmission.
