YouTube, together with the online radio station platform SiriusXM, have already started a new radio program through which they will broadcast the most outstanding musical themes belonging to both emerging and established artists who are trending on YouTube, that is, to those whose visits They have grown remarkably in recent weeks. The show is called YouTube 15, is one hour long, and can be heard weekly on demand through SiriusXM’s Hits 1 channel.
The team of this channel will be in charge of selecting the musical themes to play, which in the case of established artists will take into account the highest counts of visits on YouTube during the last weeks, and in the case of emerging artists, the greater percentage increase in visits. SiriusXM will count on Jenna Marbles to host the show.
YouTube points out in its announcement that the choice of SiriusXM responds to the fact that both share the idea of ​​connecting musical artists with their followers, having in common that both platforms enable artists to reach their followers.
The weekly YouTube 15 broadcast will have several countries, being Fridays at 6 and 9 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m., and Sundays at 8 a.m., taking into account United States time. Starting its broadcasts yesterday, there are still two more countries of the same program for this week, in case you have not had the opportunity to listen to it yesterday Friday. YouTube concludes that if users are not SiriusXM subscribers, they can find the songs that appear in the playlists through the SiriusXM channel on YouTube.
